The all-round clock radio – powerful sound and equipped with the latest technology! The CR-ST55DAB is equipped with a DAB+ receiver and, in addition to a wide range of radio stations in the best quality, also offers an extra level of safety thanks to the new “ASA” function. Its particularly large display with 5 dimming levels, including an extremely dark “Super Low Light Mode” for nighttime, two adjustable alarm times, as well as snooze and sleep functions, make the CR-ST55DAB a fully equipped clock radio. With Bluetooth® audio streaming, you can wirelessly stream music from your smartphone & other devices or alternatively play it via the USB port. Thanks to the DSP amplifier and stereo speakers, the sound is impressively powerful and clear.

    Compact Clock Radio with Impressive Sound

    Given its compact size, the CR-ST55DAB delivers a surprisingly consistent, balanced sound with a 2 x 3 watt DSP amplifier. It offers pleasant stereo sound that can be adjusted to suit personal taste with four selectable DSP settings (Normal/Pop/Rock/Jazz).

    Various Alarm Functions

    The compact radio alarm clock has numerous alarm and playback functions. A total of three different alarm routines can be stored, for example for weekdays or weekends. The audio source can be set to either the last station listened to, a stored radio station or a simple buzz tone. The alarm duration in minutes and the desired volume can also be set in advance.

    Emergency alerts via DAB radio

    The Automatic Safety Alert (ASA) warning system will protect the population in future emergencies and crises with reliable safety messages on the radio. The Kenwood radio alarm clock is already prepared for the new ASA warning system. With the Automatic Safety Alert (ASA) warning system, reliable safety messages are received via DAB+ during normal operation in emergencies and crises. In an emergency, the CR-ST55DAB can be woken from standby mode with precise addressing for the respective warning area. To do this, a location code must be entered into the device during commissioning. This code is generated based on the address via the website www.asa.radio. This ensures that your Kenwood radio is prepared for any eventuality. Further information on the introduction of the ASA warning system in Germany can be found on the website www.dabplus.de/asa.

    Customisable display settings

    The large display of the radio alarm clock shows all important information such as time, date, alarm times, etc. and can be set to a total of five brightness levels. Particularly practical: the low light mode, which reduces the display to minimum brightness in standby mode, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep.
